PICTURE: MICHAEL KLEIN  NEWS LIMITED HAWTHORN great Dermott Brereton says he believes Lance Franklin will depart the club, with the Hawks expecting to be told he is GWS-bound by Tuesday. Senior Hawks have believed for months Franklin is gone, and do not believe the Grand Final victory will sway him. Franklin said yesterday he would make his decision on “Monday or Tuesday”, but with Hawks players in Tasmania today Tuesday is more likely. The Hawks have commissioned a list management battle plan for life without Franklin, with Sydney’s Shane Mumford and second-year Brisbane ruckman Billy Longer both in their sights. But with the free agency market looking thin, they might save some Franklin’s $1.1 million wage by prepaying other contacts before next year’s bumper offering of free agents. London tourists jump into Thames as Duck Tours boat catches fire

Picture: Nick Butcher/Twitter TOURISTS hoping to see the sights of London were forced to jump into the icy waters of the River Thames after their tour boat burst into flames. Around 30 passengers were rescued from the Duck Tours amphibious craft after the fire broke out shortly before midday. Dramatic pictures taken at the scene showed tourists clinging to the side of the vessel which got into to difficulty opposite the Houses of Parliament. According to  The Sun  seven people were treated for smoke inhalation including a woman and young child and two were hospitalised with minor injuries. London Fire Brigade said the boat was 33 per cent damaged by the blaze near Lambeth Bridge. “Approximately 30 people were rescued by passing tourist boats,” a fire brigade spokesman said. “All persons were accounted for.” The fire brigade also tweeted: "Fortunately there don't seem t...

Emily Bramley says she wants her baby daughter Maddie to follow her in to the modeling profession. With this in mind the 22-year-old Brit has already put aside £1,000 ($1,730) for future surgeries she predicts Maddie will need. “If a breast enlargement or bum implants are what she needs we can do that for her,” Ms Bramley  told UK newspaper  The Sun . “Modelling is a great job.” She added: “I know Maddie will thank me for this when she’s older.” Ms Bramley, from Leeds, England, claims a breast enlargement from an A cup to DD helped launch her modeling career. The scientists came to the startling conclusion after a balloon sent 27 kilometres into the stratosphere came back carrying small biological organisms believed to have originated from space,  the Independent  reports .
